Juan Valdez Coffee — Huila Origin (454 g)

Balanced single-origin coffee with notes of orange and sweet caramel. In the Magdalena River Valley, the cloud cover over Huila protects the coffee plants from the sun, allowing them to grow stress-free year-round and mature into a balanced, sweet cup. Thanks to the dedication of 67,000 coffee-growing families in Huila, this coffee is internationally recognized for its quality.

History

Procafecol S.A. was created with the aim of generating value-added businesses for coffee growers and its Juan Valdez® brand, which has four lines of business: Stores, Channel.

2002: We opened the first Juan Valdez store at El Dorado International Airport.
2005: We began international expansion with the opening of the first Juan Valdez store in Washington, D.C.
2007: We established the labor-inclusion program in partnership with the Best Buddies Colombia foundation.
2008: We continued global expansion with exports to Europe and Asia and opened stores in Chile and Ecuador.
2009: We reached 147 Juan Valdez stores and achieved an international presence in more than 2,340 supermarkets.
2012: We launched our “Amigos de Juan Valdez” loyalty program.
2013: We inaugurated the first experiential store in Bogotá.
2014: We opened store number 200 in Colombia.
2019: We launched a new corporate strategy.
